“Through my artistic practice, I approach tragedy not only as a destructive event but as a transformative act. I see beauty and chaos not as irreconcilable opposites but as inseparable elements of existence, whose constant interplay reveals the depth of our humanity. I paint because it is the purest way to give form to these tensions; in every stroke and texture, matter becomes a language where order and chaos engage in dialogue. My technique combines dense layers and expressive gestures that fluctuate between control and accident, reflecting the struggle between fragility and resilience. My approach is deeply informed by philosophical and aesthetic influences that examine the role of art in reconciling life’s inherent contradictions. Inspired by concepts such as the tension between the Apollonian and the Dionysian, my work seeks to evoke primal emotions that transcend the barriers between the viewer and the piece. I believe art serves as a medium to illuminate both the darkest and most sublime aspects of existence, inviting us to inhabit complexity rather than fear it. For me, art is an act of care and resistance—a way of confronting the inevitable and transforming it into an act of beauty.”
