“Realism, for me, is not a style – it is a way of speaking truthfully. I don’t explain my paintings with words; I let the images speak for themselves. My reality emerges where the outer world passes through experience, memory, and doubt. It always carries both tragedy and irony – and I find it more important to witness the struggle than to take part in it. I record events, shape them into a sense of dramaturgy, and return them to the viewer as a document of time and an attempt to grasp the higher purpose of the human path. I believe that even within the imperfections of the world, meaning can be found – and I continue searching for it.”
