“I see drawing and painting as an inherent process of leaving traces.

I look into the contrast in the essentials, such as their solidity and softness, heaviness and lightness; also into the duality between their uncertainty and certainty.

For me, using different materials such as charcoal, graphite and ink, give me the enjoyment of biting into a sandwich with rich layers: crispy, juicy and loose.”
