“Elver is a part of an extensive collection of paintings which document the relationship between the history and language of painting and my experience of my environment, the here and now and the crisis we find ourselves in. The dialogue created between Arcadia and the Anthroposcene.
These paintings document my sense of wonder and grief and loss and hope. Although firmly rooted in the landscape in which I live I consider these works to be semi abstract. I am building an archive of these images.”
