“Reflecting on the ordinary and commonplace my subjects are pieces of the mundane experience cast in the shadows of everyday life. Abstracted from their usual roles and presented as something worthy, I am interested in what happens when these objects which are habitually overlooked are offered to be seen more than their practical value. In this process I hope their value is transformed and reconsidered, changing the relationship with how we see objects in time through a mindful re-examination.”
