“I often find inspiration for my work in my own home. This work is painted from the heart. It is a painting of my son who is autistic and inspires me every day as he bravely navigates life. He is sometimes overwhelmed by the prospect of going to certain places and often and buries his head in the corner of the sofa refusing to go. More often than not his bravery wins the battle and he eventually gets dressed and faces his day.”
