“In my process, each mark of colour guides the evolution of both palette and pattern. These marks are influenced by symbols found in nature. I intended for the symbolic forms within my paintings to illustrate the intricate networks between humans and nature. I aimed for this painting to connect the living with the growing by creating an abstract ecosystems.”
