Lone Ranger Crossing the Alps

“Lone Ranger Crossing the Alps is an oil on canvas with gold leaf. The French painter Jacques-Louis David and his great historical paintings in the Louvre influenced this painting. The subject was my television hero. The plastic toy was made by the Heartland Company in Kansas City. Today neither the industry nor the company exist. I, as the artist, made an inquiry about the lost simplicity about those times. Both the actual hero and the craftmanship of the toy were exceptional which inspired me to depict them on gold.”
