“All the works that I have entered are oil paintings of art collections, within which I have painted my own piece. This is of course, a painting of the collection itself. The idea for this came from my frustration with both the art world and the fact that I can no longer show my parents my work, due to them passing away. I have used this method of surreal satire and Trompe l’oeil to create this alternative reality.”
