“Based on the game ’Rock, Paper, Scissors’ the idea came from two staff at an Intaglio Printmakers shop who did a quick ’rock, paper, scissors’ game to determine who would take a customer call for a technical query. I liked the idea of creating a print to represent such different materials and given that I have an extensive collection of scissors (resulting in a series of prints) it provided the ideal starting point for a print series.”
