“The imagery in this piece comes from different sources, and I didn’t want there to be anything that gave away too many clues. It’s only the title (reflecting the spider-like head structure) that reveals anything. It’s essentially an abstract painting, where I tried create an atmosphere that is both welcoming and unnerving.”
