“A painting of my Mother mourning the death of her mother. She looked after her at home for over a decade with Alzheimers. The painting was developed from the sketch I made on the smaller piece of paper a few days after she died. As I sat there I could feel the opposing emotions of loss and relief that the suffering was over.”
