“The painting was created by oil. This work captures a middle-aged man reclining on the sofa, taking a nap. The vacant look in his eyes reveals a man who tries hard to make a living. However, due to the wear and tear of time and the pressure of society, it shows the kind of helplessness and despair in his life. The original creative intention is that Chinese young people nowadays feel a sense of despair towards society and life.”
