“This piece was created using waterbed oil paints on Fabiano paper. I layered the paints onto a perspex sheet, building up a thin layer for the background/lighter areas, and applying thickly for the dense areas that I want to show. A rubber painting tool is then used to clean away any areas where I’d like to have the base paper showing through. Once it is all painted, its then pressed onto the paper, creating a singular print, representative of the ever-changing landscape from which I draw my research and inspiration.”
