“I am fascinated by magical trees that look like they’re expressing emotions, their trunks are dynamic like Mannerism sculptures and their branches sensitively wave like our arms.  The ideas of my painting came from my animistic view of the universe and inspiration from nature. I attempt to capture the moment that I naturally harmonise with plants, objects or natural phenomena. I like to closely observe the textures of trees and to depict the details using fine liner brushes.”
