Anastassia Tetrel
Anastassia Tetrel is an artist, painter and engraver. The artist spent her childhood and adolescence in Russia before joining France in 1999, where she still lives. She has obtained Master in Fine Arts at Moscow Fine Arts School of Sourikov, Grenoble High Fine Art School (France), Master in Fine Arts at Amiens School of Art and Design (France). For 25 years Anastassia has been teaching and collaborating with art schools, museums and foundations: Musée Réattu, Fondation van Gogh, Musée Départemental Arles Antique, Ecole MOPA animation 3D cinéma, Musée des Alpilles, Fondation de France. In her works, she combines academic techniques with a conceptual and contemporary approach. Her favorite themes are old lace cloths, the moults of the insects that appear in his paintings like empty shells, containers. The imaginary landscapes, larges, subversives and enveloping, speak of uprooting, or on the contrary of the return to the origins and depths of the earth. She pays homage to the manner of the great masters, from Van Eyck to Botticelli, through her paintings that combine realism of extreme finesse and dreaminess of great delicacy.
