Barbara Zankovich

Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, the artist graduated from the Faculty of Graphics at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts in 2020. She also studied at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris from 2018-2019 through a student exchange program. From 2020 to 2022, she was represented by The Russian Ark Gallery in Sydney, Australia. Barbara’s artistic focus lies in evoking human emotions through the combination of visual abstract shapes and figurative storylines. in Focuses mainly in linocut and monotype techniques, but also working in a variety of painting techniques such as acrilyic painting, oil painting . The works are kept in private collections in Russia, China, Azerbaijan, the USA, as well as in the Museum of the Academy of Arts and the National Museum of the city Haikou, China.
