Bennie Reilly is a Dublin-based visual artist working in the mediums of paint and mixed media sculpture. Her practice is informed by an interest in museology, natural history and the act of collecting. Reilly’s research has led her to museums throughout Europe and the US and to remote residencies in Iceland, Norway, Hungary and Ireland. She has exhibited across Ireland, Europe & in the US with nine solo exhibitions to date including the Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin. Reilly is represented in the Irish State Art Collection, the Arts Council of Ireland Collection & the Butler Gallery Collection, Kilkenny. Beachcomber Bank, a new public sculpture developed by Reilly was installed on Skerries Beach, Co. Dublin in 2023.
