Erin Bird

Erin Bird is an artist living in Surrey known for her innovative, poetic and distinctive visual language. Born in the United States and currently based in the UK, she holds a BA(hons) from Camberwell College of Arts, London, and an MA from the Royal College of Art. Bird’s art explores themes of memory and transformation. She combines traditional techniques with digital methods to produce visually stunning and thought-provoking works of art. Her unique approach, characterised by abstract shapes, bold colours, and fluid lines that resemble liquid flowing silk, has garnered recognition and praise from critics and peers alike. Her artistic talent has been recognized through prestigious shortlistings for the Lumen Prize for Art and Technology in 2020 and the Gilchrist-Fisher Award in 2008. Notably, Bird’s work is featured in distinguished corporate collections, including Related Companies (NYC), VyStar Credit Union (FL), and Wiley Rein Law Firm (DC), as well as private collections worldwide.
