Hanna Brody
Hanna Brody (b. 1994, New York, NY) was raised in Santa Fe, NM, and currently lives in Albuquerque, NM. Her paintings are about the simultaneous emotions that form relationships. Just as how love and spite can live in the same conversation, she feels a constant slingshot of either acceptance or disassociation, depicted through the overlapping figures in her work. She received a BA from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. Brody has participated in exhibitions with Tchochke Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; Thierry Goldberg Gallery, New York, NY; Field Projects, New York, NY; Studio 9D, New York, NY; Form & Concept, Santa Fe, NM; and The Factory, Long Island, NY among others. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of New Mexico with an expected graduated date of 2027.
