Jonathan Alibone

Jonathan Alibone’s practice relies in large part on the models, dioramas and salvaged fragments of cardboard packaging he constructs and photographs in the studio. From these he produces paintings and drawings, working most notably in watercolour, oils and charcoal. Alibone is a UK born artist based in Northampton, England, and is currently a resident at The Sanctuary studios. He has co-curated several exhibitions, and has collaborated on many projects, working in a variety of media, such as video, installation, and sound. He has exhibited widely, including at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, and his work features in collections throughout Europe, Russia and USA.
