Kale Vandenbroek

Kale Vandenbroek is a multimedia artist based in Toronto, Canada. His self portraiture explores both first- and third-person views, emulating the style of the Symbolist art movement. Kale studied Print Media at the Alberta University of the Arts in Calgary, graduating in 2014. Since moving to Toronto, his focus has shifted from printmaking to his painting and drawing practice. Kale’s work has been shown in Japan, China, Finland, and Canada, and one of his prints is in the collection at the Tama Art University in Tokyo.
