Kerry Brewer

Brewer resists definition, though clearly a painter, she currently works in both France and London creating three dimensional works for all consuming experiences. Much of her painting is a natural journey to the current mode of working, just as each project before was an organic development from the one previous to that. She works without driving towards a career but to satisfy the needs of living, without the need, none of her paintings would exist. While she has exhibited and received accolades, through a combination of stubbornly shunning definition and thwarted by illness both her own and her partner her creativity has always been focussed on where it could be felt deeper rather than wider. Self taught by intense observation but also with a Bachelors from Camberwell in 2004 and a Masters from Westminster.
