Lindy Norton

After completing a B.A in Fine Art at Hull School of Art and Design and an M.A in Printmaking at Chelsea School of art Lindy moved back to East Yorkshire where she currently resides.Lindy has had several one man shows and exhibited in many mixed exhibitions including The Royal Academy Summer Show, Bankside, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, New Light Prize Exhibition ( touring ), Green and Stone (Works On Paper) etc.as well as many local shows. Lindy spent a month at The British School at Rome. Lindy’s work is held in many private collections in England and abroad.Printmaking is Lindy’s preferred media of choice.  She enjoys drypoint etching for its immediacy and aquatint etching enables her to amplify mood and atmosphere. Drawing is essential to Lindy’s Printmaking practice.
