Ludvig Sjödin

Ludvig Sjödin is a painter based in Luleå, Sweden. The artist’s naturalistic style of painting stems from his pursuit of capturing moments of everyday life in the way he experiences it. The pictures provide both a sense of melancholy and comfort at the same time, reflecting on themes such as the passing of time and similar topics.

Ludvig studies his MA in Digital Art History at Uppsala University, which has influenced his artistic pursuit by providing a broad set of references from the art world through the ages, that then gets implemented into his own artworks. Through exhibiting frequently in his hometown of Luleå in the northernmost part of Sweden, he now seeks to expand his artistic territory abroad.
