(b. 1990, Poland) Magdalena Gluszak – Holeksa is painter currently based in Hertfordshire, UK. She is a Digswell Arts Fellow and works from her studio at the Forge, Welwyn. Her biggest to date solo exhibition A Mountain, Too, Has Its Thoughts (2022) at Broadway Gallery took place as part of her five-month residency (The Letchworth Residency, 2021/22). She graduated with a Distinction from the MFA Fine Arts at the Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL (2017 – 2019), prior to which she completed a BA (Hons) Photography at the Arts University Bournemouth (2011 – 2014). Recipient of two grants from The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation (2017 and 2018). Shortlisted for Jackson’s Painting Prize (2019).
