Maria Babić

Maria Babic was born in 1998 in Germany. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2024. In her artistic practice, she expresses herself through oil painting, drawing, objects, but mostly graphics. Her starting point is the consciousness of the human race about the transcendental, and what a trace, the lack of consciousness about it leaves. It deals with questions such as whether the moment has come for humanity to be ashamed of its misdeeds. She had one solo and five group exhibitions, in Banja Luka and Belgrade. In addition to private collections, her works are also in the archive of Graphic collective in Belgrade. She currently lives in Banja Luka, where she is attending a master’s degree in graphics.
