Min Angel

Min Angel grew up in the country and now lives and works in London. Her otherworldly paintings explore the senses of touch, sight and intuition, asking us to suspend our disbelief and inviting our curiosity. Angel studied Art History at UCL, Painting at Camberwell and an MFA at Slade and had a previous career in the theatre and museums. Her work is informed by art history, literature and her practice of Zen meditation and the ancient energy arts of Kung Fu and Qigong. Angel’s worlds of metamorphosis, sensation and enchantment have been exhibited in the UK, Amsterdam, Greece, Romania, Russia, Mexico and Cyprus. She has work in public and private collections. She is one of the founders of BLINK the artists platform curating shows in London. Angel is married with two children.
