Nadja Gabriela Plein is a London-based painter, thinker and writer. Her work is concerned with the inter-subjectivity of how the painter is entangled with the world and the material.
She is a graduate of Turps Art School and the winner of the 2019 Jackson’s Painting Prize Abstract/Non-representational Category. Her paintings are frequently shown in exhibitions in the UK and abroad. Her writing has been presented at conferences and published in online journals.
Before embarking on a career in the visual arts, Nadja gained a doctorate in music composition from the Royal College of Music in London.
