Parastoo Ganjei comes from an artistic family, with a grandfather who was a prominent painter in Iran. She paints still lives, roses are a favourite subject for her and she captures the weight of the flower heads beautifully whilst keeping a strong sense of moment. Using this common subject as a vehicle to portray feelings and emotions, there is a vitality as well as balance to her work.
Parastoo studied fine art in Iran, Sussex and Dorset in the United Kingdom.
Exhibiting widely in the united kingdom, her work has proved to be extremely collectable. She has had many exhibitions around the country. Her next solo show at the David Simon Contemporary is in October 2019.
