Sam Dalby

Sam Dalby is a figurative artist, based in Moffat, Scotland.

Sam studied at Harrogate College of Art and Technology, and Cleveland College of Art and Design. He has exhibited widely, including at the National Portrait Gallery, The Mall Galleries, and Glasgow Art Club.

Sam was elected a member of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters in 2013. Sam has exhibited with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters at the Mall Galleries since 2009.

Sam won First Prize at the Scottish Portrait Awards in 2022 for his painting ‘Meeting Daniel’
