Tom Loffill

Tom Loffill is an artist based in North London, working across multiple disciplines.

After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Middlesex University in 2002, Tom worked in fashion, design and music, before rediscovering his love of painting again, and returning to his Fine Arts practice in 2018.

Primarily a painter of portraiture and still lifes, his still life painting ‘Pills’ was exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2018.

Tom had paintings selected for the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibtion in 2021 and 2022, was shortlisted for the Jackson’s Painting Prize 2023, and longlisted for the Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize 2023.

He also works in video, musical composition, recording and performance; contributing music to collaborations with Guy Oliver at the Zabludowicz Collection in 2018, and the Whitechapel Gallery in 2021.
