“The Golden hour is inspired by the memory of a feeling experienced in an intimate moment from my own experience. My work originates in lived experiences and explores relationships; themes of intimacy, communication, identity, and implicit memory. Sourcing from mnemonic imagery and found visual resources, I play with both figurative and abstract language and employ the power of suggestion to engage the viewer in a dialogue with the painting.”
