“This work belongs to the “Habitat” series, in which I reflect on the source of our sense of security and belonging to a place, as well as on the extent to which we are able to be present here and now in a world where an alternative virtual reality often replaces our real experiences. This particular work refers to tapestry – a popular decorative form used to decorate house walls. By extracting details such as threads, I try to take a closer look at the structure of beauty and our ideas about it”
