Amelia Schutter

Amelia is an American oil painter living and working in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her work seeks to capture the unexpected beauty found in the everyday, compelling viewers to stop and see the wonder in moments they might otherwise miss.

Amelia studied fine art at Iowa State University, and after working for a few years with a non-profit organization, she decided to pursue her passion of creating. Now an emerging artist who has exhibited and sold her artwork internationally, Amelia continues to be inspired by the unique beauty she finds around her in daily life and to share these moments with the world through paint.
