Bruno Diaz is an emerging artist, now working and living in London. His vivid, fantastical works are concerned with the subject of image retention and speed, and the search of a recluse amidst the intensity of cosmopolitan life. Bruno’s drawing and observational skills were honed in his foundation year at the Royal Drawing School where he developed an acute understanding of the figure and its historical purpose in pictorial space.

He has since completed his BA at the Glasgow School of Art, where his practice become concerned with pushing the limitations of the material reality of oil on canvas. Bruno’s paintings reveal a quest for truth amidst a playful lexicon of the representational and cartoon folly. He has since exhibited in several exhibitions in London, most recently at DContemporary, Mayfair and Changing Room Gallery.
