Hersilia Leoca (b.1989) is an artist currently living and working in London, UK with a background in scenography. Throughout her painting and drawing practice, memories are relived, reassembled and transformed into new vivid worlds, new fictions: a balance between recollection and reinvention, growth in moments of unthinking that offer new outlooks, landscapes of interior and exterior spaces.

Hersilia’s work sits somewhere on the spectrum between the abstract and the figurative. Recent exhibitions include ‘Habitat’ at Contemporary Six, ‘Sala Salon’ at Sala Salon and ‘Works on Paper 3’ at Blue Shop Cottage.
