Marigold Plunkett
Marigold Plunkett is a painter-printmaker and has an MA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts (UAL). She teaches printmaking from her Kent based studio as well as editioning for Artichoke Print Workshop in London. She has won several art prizes, most significantly the Ingram Prize in 2020. She regularly exhibits locally and nationally, including at the ING Discerning Eye and the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. Last Autumn she co-coordinated Making Her Mark, a four woman exhibition in Fitzrovia, London. She exhibited for the first time last year at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea with Artichoke Artists. In 2023 Marigold was accepted onto the Hastings Turps Painting Programme to develop her painting practice, which was supported by an Arts Council DYCP Grant. Her current work developed from the Turps Programme and is broadly landscape based, using mixed-media on paper and canvas, she is inspired from both her imagination and the world around her.
