I was born in Hannover/Germany in 1953, studied Fine Arts in Kassel/ Germany and started taking part in exhibitions nationally and internationally in 1993. Currently I am living in Frankfurt/Germany. I am part of the national association of
professional artists (BBK) and of the European association of professional female artists (GEDOK).
My work revolves around human visions, longings and emotions in past and presence in an abstract way. I search for freedom, liveliness and intensity. My paintings open a space for associations, memories and new visions.
Painting for me has become the way of expressing myself and exploring a world which cannot be explored by words. I feel inspired by colours and shapes, marks and lines found in my everyday life. I take them up and transpose them into a free
abstract language of painting oscillating between abstraction and figurative hints.
In the paintings submitted here my inspiration basically comes from scenes of my everyday life.
